Quick side note: Does anybody else have a problem with Cadbury only selling those eggs during Easter? I really think they should branch out a little. We could have Cadbury Halloween Eggs or better yet, Christmas Eggs….
If you’re here, you must want to know a little bit more about me. So here goes:
I overuse the word awesome. In fact, my usage of the word awesome borders on abuse. Let's just be glad I don't like the word rad, okay?
I talk too much. Not in the bad, gossipy way, but in the, ‘can’t you be quiet for just five minutes’ way.
I use the ellipsis more than is reasonably called for. What’s an ellipsis, you ask? It’s these three dots (…) I use the ellipsis to show that a thought is not quite finished. And a lot of mine aren’t. Hence, the ellipsis…
I drink a lot of coffee. All. Day. Long. Black? Awesome. Cream and sugar? Great. Cold? Sure. Ten at night… Why not?
A little bit about my family:
My husband, or MC as he is called here, is the cook in our house. I’ve never called him the Master Chef to his face, although I assume he wouldn’t be offended if I did. He is a good sport about letting me pour out all our home adventures on this blog.
The BLT keep me constantly on my toes. Case in point, I went upstairs to refill my coffee and Bitty B had a mesh basket sitting in the middle of the living room with a toad in it. 'Don’t worry’, she told me. ‘In case he pees, I put this towel under him.’ Well, good. As long as that’s taken care of… Lovely L likes to talk as much as I do and thinks it’s cool when she’s the subject of a post. We’ll see how long that lasts. T Bub is our only boy and does not want to be the subject of a post. Ever. Sorry, Bub, but I can’t promise anything…
Fun Fact:
I had at one time thought of calling my blog Master Chef and the BLT, but that title sounded too much like a food blog. Or a really bad band name. Plus, it didn’t actually have anything to do with me.
I hope you’ll stick around as I stumble my way through DIY projects, awesome crafts, occasional cooking and parenting on the fly.
Thanks for stopping by!
